Various motorcycle model accolades, summed and sorted.
Some flaws with this are that we can't assume the museums could have any bike they wanted. I'm sure any collection would have wanted the Hildebrand & Wolfmüller, Daimler Reitwagen, Roper, or Michaux-Perreux, if they could get one. Some of the Harleys and British bikes would score higher if related model variations were added up. There should be a column with a point for introducing a new technology. Another for racing championships. This is only a starting point.
I'm adding books which are organized to present a select number of important motorcycles, such as Legendary Motorcycles (specific bikes owned by celebrities and racing champions) and Motorcycle Panorama (100 models exemplifying technical advances). Books might be less authoritative than museums, but they have the freedom to pick anything they like, so perhaps scoring both books and museums together balances the disadvantages of each.
