William Alford Richards (March 9, 1849 – July 25, 1912) was an American surveyor, rancher, and politician. He was the fourth Governor of Wyoming from January 7, 1895, until January 2, 1899, and also served as the 30th Commissioner of the General Land Office from 1903 to 1907.
