Wokha is a town and municipality in the Indian state of Nagaland. It is the headquarters of Wokha District and is located about 75 km north of the state capital Kohima. Wokha literally means head count or census in Lotha language. It has a population of 35,004[1] and is predominantly inhabited by the Lotha Nagas.
