Wu-Chung Hsiang

Wu-Chung Hsiang (Chinese: 項武忠; pinyin: Xiàng Wǔzhōng; Wade–Giles: Hsiang Wu-chung; born 12 June 1935 in Zhejiang) is a Taiwanese-American mathematician, specializing in topology. Hsiang served as chairman of the Department of Mathematics at Princeton University from 1982 to 1985 and was one of the most influential topologists of the second half of the 20th century.[1]
