XEB-AM (branded as La B Grande) is a radio station on AM frequency 1220 kHz, serving Mexico City and surrounding areas in Mexico. Under the brand name La B Grande, the station airs a Spanish-language classic contemporary format with music from the 1940s to the 1970s.[citation needed] It has been owned by the Instituto Mexicano de la Radio (IMER), a Mexican government public broadcaster, since IMER's founding in 1983.[3]

El 15 de septiembre de 1923 se inaugura oficialmente la estación de "El Buen Tono", posteriormente conocida con las siglas CYB y más tarde, en 1929, con el indicativo XEB (actualmente es la decana de las radiodifusoras en operación).
