Yatsushiro (八代市, Yatsushiro-shi) is a city located in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 August 2024[update], the city had an estimated population of 120,389 in 57953 households, and a population density of 300 persons per km2.[1] The total area of the city is 681.29 km2 (263.05 sq mi).
