Yuji Matsumoto (松本 裕治, Matsumoto Yūji) is a Japanese and American professor of information science who works at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology and also specializes in artificial intelligence and computational linguistics. He has almost 450 peer-reviewed articles with the highest ranked one being Applying conditional random fields to Japanese morphological analysis, which was cited over 1100 times.[1]
