The 1942 Bucknell Bison football team was an American football team that represented Bucknell University as an independent during the 1942 college football season. In its sixth season under head coach Al Humphreys, the team compiled a 6–2–1 record.[1]

Bucknell was ranked at No. 124 (out of 590 college and military teams) in the final rankings under the Litkenhous Difference by Score System for 1942.[2]

The team played its home games at Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
