The 1948 Heidelberg Student Princes football team was an American football team that represented Heidelberg College as a member of the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) during the 1948 college football season. In their third year under head coach Paul Hoernemann, the Student Princes compiled a 9–0 record, won the OAC championship, shut out five of nine opponents, and outscored all opponents by a total of 299 to 26.[1][2]

The 1948 season was the second perfect season in Heidelberg football history. Other perfect seasons were 1930, 1955, and 1972.[3]
