The 1961 Ithaca Bombers football team was an American football team that represented Ithaca College as an independent during the 1961 college football season. In their fourth season under head coach Richard S. Lyon, the Bombers compiled a 4–4 record and outscored opponents by a total of 176 to 101.[1]
Quarterback Larry Karas tallied 785 passing yards to break the school's single-season passing record, and right halfback Bill O'Dell scored 10 touchdowns to break the school's single-season scoring record.
The team played its home games at South Hill Field in Ithaca, New York.
