1979 Speedway World Team Cup

The 1979 Speedway World Team Cup was the 20th edition of the FIM Speedway World Team Cup to determine the team world champions.[1][2][3][4]

The final took place on 16 September at the White City Stadium in London.[5][6] New Zealand won their first title defeating defending champions Denmark, who finished in second place.[7][8][9]
