The 1989 Daily Mirror Greyhound Derby took place during May and June with the final being held on 24 June 1989 at Wimbledon Stadium.^[1] The winner was Lartigue Note and the winning owner Cathal McCarthy received £40,000. The competition was sponsored by the Daily Mirror.^[2]
