1 William Street (colloquially known as the Tower of Power)[7][8] is a skyscraper in William Street, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. At 259.8 metres (852 ft), it is the third-tallest building in the city and 12th-tallest building in Australia as of 2022.[9] The modernist office building is located in the Brisbane CBD, and in close proximity to the neighbouring Parliament House. The building was developed for the Queensland Government as part of its plan for a renewed Government Administrative Precinct and to meet accommodation demands. It was completed in October 2016 with over 5,000 government staff moving in over six weekends.[3][10]
