The 2001 O'Byrne Cup was a Gaelic football competition played by the county teams of Leinster GAA.

Meath were the winners, defeating Westmeath in the final at Cusack Park, Mullingar.[2]

  1. ^ "Leinster GAA Results 2001". These official records contain 2 errors: they show a game "28th January – Wicklow (2-13) Kildare (1-14)", but this was a Kehoe Cup hurling game. Also, the score "21st January – Westmeath (4-07) Louth (1-19)" is the wrong way around - it was Westmeath 1-19 Louth 4-7 as seen here
