The 2001 Crown Prince Cup was the 26th season of the Saudi premier knockout tournament since its establishment in 1957. The main competition started on 10 March 2001 and concluded with the final on 2 May 2001.
Al-Hilal were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the semi-finals by Al-Ittihad.[1]
In the final, Al-Ittihad defeated Al-Ettifaq 3–0 to secure their record-extending sixth title and first since 1997.[2] The final was held at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.
