The 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl was an American college football bowl game that was played on December 28, 2013, at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Florida. It was one of the 2013–14 bowl games that concluded the 2013 FBS football season. The 24th edition of the Russell Athletic Bowl, it featured the Miami Hurricanes of the Atlantic Coast Conference (which Louisville will join in 2014) against the Louisville Cardinals of the American Athletic Conference. It began at 6:45 p.m. EST and aired on ESPN.[5] The game was sponsored by the Russell Athletic uniform company. Louisville defeated Miami by a score of 36–9.

The Cardinals had a regular season record of 11–1 (7–1 American).[6] The Hurricanes finished their season at 9–3 (5–3 ACC).
