It was the 28th annual edition of the Toronto Indy, and the 29th and 30th IndyCar races to be held at the 1.755-mile (2.824 km) street circuit at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The races were contested over 65 and 56 laps respectively.
