The 2015 Summer Universiade (Korean: 2015년 하계 유니버시아드, romanized: Icheon sip-o nyeon Hagye Yunibeosiadeu) was a Universiade held in the city of Gwangju, South Korea. It took place from July 3 to July 14, 2015. Gwangju also hostes the group matches of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
The event is officially known as the XXVIII Summer Universiade (Korean: 제28회 하계 유니버시아드, romanized: Jeisippalhoe Hagye Yunibeosiadeu) and also known as Gwangju 2015 (Korean: 광주2015, romanized: Gwangju Icheon sip-o).
