The 2018 Cal Poly Mustangs football team represented California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo as member of the Big Sky Conference during the 2018 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by tenth-year head coach Tim Walsh, Cal Poly compiled an overall record of 5–6 with a mark of 4–4 in conference play, tying for sixth place in the Big Sky.
