The 2019 French Grand Prix (formally known as the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix de France 2019)[1] was a Formula One motor race on 23 June 2019 at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France.[1] The race was the 8th round of the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship. It was the 88th running of the French Grand Prix,[2] and the 60th time the event had been included as a round of the Formula One World Championship since the inception of the series in 1950.[3]
The race was won by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton ahead of teammate Valtteri Bottas and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.
