The 2023 Cheshire West and Chester Council election took place on 4 May 2023 to elect members of Cheshire West and Chester Council in England. This was on the same day as other local elections, including contested elections in the civil parishes of Broxton, Dutton, Great Boughton[b], Mouldsworth and Tarporley and the towns of Frodsham[c], Northwich[d] and Winsford.[6]
The council had been under no overall control prior to the election, being run by a Labour minority administration. Labour won a majority on the council at this election, taking 39 of the 70 seats.[7]
