The 2024 season is the Houston Texans' 23rd season in the National Football League (NFL) and the second under head coach DeMeco Ryans. The team introduced new uniforms for the first time since the franchise's inception. This is the Texans' first season with Cal McNair as the franchise's sole principal owner.[1] The Texans started 2-0 for the first time since 2016 following their Week 2 victory against the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football.
