The 2024 season is the Jacksonville Jaguars' 30th season in the National Football League (NFL), their fourth full season under the leadership of general manager Trent Baalke and their third under head coach Doug Pederson. The Jaguars failed to improve on their 9–8 record from the previous two seasons after a Week 11 loss to the Detroit Lions dropped them to 2–9, but are still looking to return to the playoffs and win the AFC South title after a one-year absence. Following the loss to the Lions, the Jaguars became the first team to secure a losing record in 2024, suffering their first losing season since 2021. [1]
