The 2024 New Brunswick general election will be held on October 21, 2024, where 49 members will be elected to the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly. It was formally called upon the dissolution of the 60th Assembly on September 19, 2024.[1]
The Legislative Assembly Act was amended in 2017 to provide that an election should be held every four years on the third Monday in October;[2] the election still must be held on a Monday if called sooner.[3]
