Abdul Hannan Masud (Bengali: আব্দুল হান্নান মাসউদ) is a Bangladeshi activist.[1][2][3] He is one of the coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Students Movement,[4][5] which led the Student–People's uprising led to the overthrowy of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government.[6][7][8] Abdul Hannan Masud, as the chief organizer of Students Against Discrimination, has been instrumental in raising awareness about issues related to discrimination within educational institutions and countrywise. He has led various initiatives aimed at promoting inclusivity and equality, often organizing workshops, seminars, and events that bring attention to topics like racial, gender, and socioeconomic discrimination.[9] Through his leadership, Students Against Discrimination has successfully campaigned for policy changes in Bangladesh and some institutions of the country, advocating for fair treatment and representation of all students and general people. His work has garnered attention and support from other social justice groups and helped create more inclusive spaces in the new Bangladesh. [7] [10]
