Abdullahi Ali Afrah (1953–2008), born in Somalia, was a Canadian immigrant who returned to Mogadishu as a leader in the Union of Islamic Courts (UIC).[1] He was killed 1 July 2008 in a battle with the Ethiopian troops in Mataban, Hiiraan, Somalia.[1]
