Adonia Katungisa is a Ugandan librarian and administrator known for his contribution to the field of library and information science. He has been the Director of the National Library of Uganda since 2018, and he has played a crucial role in shaping the library landscape in the country.[1][2][3][4] Katungisa was the Deputy Director at the same institution. Additionally, he contributes to academia as a part-time lecturer in Library and Information Science at Kyambogo University.[5][6] He has been involved in initiatives to bridge the digital divide in Uganda, implementing digital literacy training programs to make computers accessible to the community.[7]
