In Greek mythology, Alcaea (Ancient Greek: Άλκαίαν) was a Thessalian princess as the daughter of King Hypseus of Lapiths and the naiad Chlidanope.[1][2] She was the sister of Cyrene[3], Themisto[4] and Astyaguia[5].
