Alexandrovsky District (Russian: Алекса́ндровский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-six in Stavropol Krai, Russia.[2] Municipally, it is incorporated as Alexandrovsky Municipal District.[4] It is located in the center of the krai. The area of the district is 2,014 square kilometers (778 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Alexandrovskoye.[2] Population: 50,235 (2010 Census);[3] 50,978 (2002 Census);[7] 49,434 (1989 Census).[8] The population of Alexandrovskoye accounts for 54.7% of the district's total population.[3]
