"All I Ask" received unanimous acclaim from the music critics, with praise for its lyrics, production, and Adele's vocal performance. The track peaked at number 41 on the UK Singles Chart and at number 77 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It also charted at numbers 17, 21, 66, and 65 in South Korea, Finland, France, and Australia, respectively.
