Alluda Majaka is a 1995 Telugu-language action comedy film directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana and produced by K. Devi Varaprasad under the Devi Films banner. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Ramya Krishna, and Rambha, with supporting roles played by Lakshmi, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and Ooha. Written by Posani Krishna Murali, the film was later remade in Kannada as Kiladi (2000).[1]
The film generated significant controversy over content deemed objectionable by certain groups, resulting in calls for a ban.[2] However, following protests from Chiranjeevi's fans, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) opted to edit the contentious scenes rather than ban the film.[3] Despite the controversy, Alluda Majaka was a big commercial success, running for 100 days in 27 centres and grossing approximately ₹9 crore. It became the second-highest-grossing Telugu film of 1995.[1][4]
