Alojz Uran or Alojzij Uran (22 January 1945 – 11 April 2020) was a Slovenian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, who served as Archbishop of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, from 4 December 2004 till 28 November 2009, when he resigned due to health problems.[1] Appointed to succeed him was the coadjutor archbishop of Maribor, Anton Stres, C.M.
