Alzano Scrivia (Piedmontese: Alsan) is a municipality (Italian: comune) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) east of Turin and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 409 and an area of 2.1 square kilometres (0.81 sq mi).[3]
Alzano Scrivia borders the following municipalities: Castelnuovo Scrivia, Guazzora, Isola Sant'Antonio, and Molino dei Torti.
The 18th-century Church of the Nativity of Mary host paintings of Giovani Marcello Zampollini (1888-1948), Pietro Mietta, Alessandro silla and Domenico Fossati.[4]
