Amaoba is an Oboro community in the Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria.[1] It consists of two autonomous sister villages, Amaoba Ime and Amaoba Ikputu.[2][3] Abaa Ukwu, Amaoba Ime and Ikputu Oboro are the three autonomous communities of Amaoba.[4] Amaoba is 13 km away from the state's capital, Umuahia.[5]
