Amari Spievey (born April 15, 1988) is an American former professional football player who was a safety for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes. He was considered one of the top cornerback prospects for the 2010 NFL draft.[1] He was picked in the 3rd round (66th overall) in the draft.
