In Hindu texts, Ambarisha (Sanskrit: अम्बरीषः, Ambarīṣa) is an mythological Ikshvaku king, and the son of Mandhata.[1] He is believed to have conquered the whole world in a week.[2] He lived during the Treta Yuga.
