Amish Shah is an American politician and physician who served as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for District 5 from 2023 to 2024. He previously served as the Representative for District 24 from 2019 to 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he first entered the legislature by defeating incumbent Representative Ken Clark in 2018.[2] Shah was the Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in Arizona's 1st congressional district in the 2024 election, losing to incumbent Republican David Schweikert.
