Murez in 2015

Andrea "Andi" Murez (Hebrew: אנדראה "אנדי" מוּרֶז; born 29 January 1992) is an Olympic swimmer.[2][3] Born in the United States, she represents Israel internationally and competed for her country of birth in the past. She swam for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2020 Summer Olympics. She represented Israel for the third time at the at the 2024 Paris Olympics where she was one of the flag bearers together with the Olympic judoka Peter Paltchik.

She represented the United States at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia, where she was a 4 × 200 m freestyle gold medalist and a 4 × 100 m freestyle silver medalist.[4]

Murez is also a Maccabiah Games champion, and Maccabiah record holder, as well as an Israeli national record holder. She has won 17 medals at the Maccabiah Games, 12 of them gold. Murez holds the Israeli national records in the 100 m and 200 m freestyle.
