Annie Therese Altschul, CBE, BA, MSc, RGN, RMN, RNT, FRCN[1] (18 February 1919 – 24 December 2001)[2] was Britain's first mental health nurse pioneer;[3][4] a midwife, researcher, educator, author and a patient advocate,[5] emeritus professor of nursing.[1]
