Antanas Samuolis (born Antanas Samulevičius; 3 June 1899 – 9 February 1942) was a prominent Lithuanian interwar expressionist painter.[1] Considered one of the most capable students of Justinas Vienožinskis [lt], Samuolis's paintings have had a significant impact on Lithuanian art of the first half of the 20th century.[1]

Samuolis is the uncle of painter Raimundas Samulevičius through his brother and his wife and painter Stasė Samulevičienė [lt].[2]
