Anveshitha is an Indian Telugu-language supernatural drama television series written by Ilyas Ahmed and Jyotsna, and directed by Ilyas Ahmed under the pseudonym Pradyumna. Produced by Ramoji Rao for ETV, the series aired from 16 July 1997 to 9 June 1999, spanning 100 episodes. Based on a paranormal novel by Ilyas Ahmed and Jyotsna, the series explored themes of black magic, witchcraft, demonic possession, astral travel, and other supernatural phenomena.[1]
The show, featuring episodes of 18–24 minutes, became highly popular among Telugu audiences, blending elements of horror, fantasy, and mystery. Its success earned it eight Nandi Awards across various categories, establishing it as a landmark in Telugu television.[1][2]
