The Apostolic Nunciature to Japan (Latin: Nuntius Apostolicus in Iaponia, Japanese: 駐日本国バチカン市国大使館) is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Japan. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio with the rank of an ambassador.
It originated as the Apostolic Delegation to Japan, erected by Pope Benedict XV on 26 November 1919.[1]
