Aramco Stadium (Arabic: ملعب ارامكو, romanized: maleab aramku) will be a multi-purpose stadium located in the north of Khobar, Saudi Arabia.[1][2] One of the 2034 FIFA World Cup stadiums, the stadium will have a capacity of 47,000.[3] It will also be used for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.[4] A partnership between Roshn, a Public Investment Fund owned real estate development company, and Aramco was established to build this stadium.[5] Its opening will take place in 2026.[3]
The stadium in named after Aramco a majority Saudi Arabian state-owned petroleum and natural gas company that is the national oil company of Saudi Arabia. Upon its opening Aramco will operate the stadium, while Roshn will own the stadium.
