Sayyid Assadollah Ladjevardi (Persian: اسدالله لاجوردی; 1935 – 23 August 1998) was an Iranian conservative politician, prosecutor and warden.[1] He was one of the officials responsible for the 1988 executions of Iranian political prisoners,[2][3] and was assassinated by the People's Mujahedin of Iran on 23 August 1998.
