Asahi (朝日村, Asahi-mura) is a village located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 April 2019[update], the village had an estimated population of 4,569 in 1533 households,[2] and a population density of 63.4 persons per km². The total area of the village is 70.62 square kilometres (27.27 sq mi).
