The Assy-Turgen Observatory (ATO), Full name: Academician Omarov Assy-Turgen Observatory,[1] is an astronomical observatory located in the Assy-Turgen region not far from Almaty, Kazakhstan, within a national park.[2] The nearest city is Esik.
