The Atlantic Canada goose (Branta canadensis canadensis) is the nominate subspecies of Canada goose, residing in much of the east coast of North America, as well as having been introduced to much of northern and western Europe. They are often viewed as pests, especially in places they have been introduced to.[1][2] The Canada goose was first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1758.[3]
