The Aukh dialect[2][3] (Chechen: Ӏовхойн диалект, romanized: 'Ovkhoyn dialekt, Russian: Ауховский диалект, romanized: Aukhovskiy dialekt) is a dialect of the Chechen language, It is primarily spoken by residents in the northern part of Dagestan,[4] and the estimated number of speakers is about 160 thousand.[1] native dialect of the Aukhs society.
