Ayta ash-Shaab (Arabic: عيتا الشعب; also transliterated Ayta al-Sha'b or Ayta al-Shab)[1] is a village located in southern Lebanon, about 1 km northeast of the Israeli border. The majority of its population are Shia Muslims.[2]
