Badartala is a suburb neighbourhood located in the southern fringes of Kolkata in West Bengal, India. It is situated at the eastern bank of Hooghly River. Adjoined neighbourhoods are Rajabagan (east), Metiabruz (south east), Akra Phatak (south). Ayub Nagar Basti, Birjunala, Bagdipara, Jeliapara, Siraj Basti are some localities (bastis) of the neighborhood.
